I buy Mobile Full Synthetic MOTORCYCLE OIL at Walmart @ $7 pr. QT. There are two types: the 20/50 wt "V" Twin and the 10/40 wt. "MX 4T," four stroke oil. My clutch slips with the 20/50 "V" twin stuff and does not slip with the 10/40 "MX 4T."
By the way, Suzuki recognizes a clutch slippage problem in the Savage and sent out a bulletin to use 10/40 wt oil as a cure for slippage. Most heavier oils seam to perform OK though.
